Covid Safety Nex

In response to the COVID19 Crisis, we are committed to retaining a safe and healthy workplace and place of business. The following procedures have been adopted to minimize risk to our employees and guests. Employees are being asked to stay home if feeling sick and a zero-tolerance policy on showing symptoms in the workplace is in effect.Public Spaces:

To increase level of cleanliness and sanitation the following chemicals and procedures have been adopted.

Cleaners have been equipped with a commercial peroxide cleaner that has been proven effective in killing viruses, and procedures and training to understand contact times.
Public space cleaning schedule has been doubled to include 4 passes through all open public spaces with a special emphasis on High Contact Touchpoints (HCT’s). (IE Doorknobs, luggage carts, keyboards, counter tops, key cards, pens, shared office equipment etc.)

To avoid creating opportunities for guest density, the following public spaces have been closed until further notice.

Guest Laundry remains open, though HCT’s remain a priority for the cleaning team and we ask that no more then 1 guest use at a time.

Breakfast Buffet has been suspended and grab and go breakfast has been made available to guests each morning till the end of posted breakfast hours.

To avoid close contact and limit transmission opportunities the following safety guards have been put in place at the Front Desk Reception.

Stanchions block guests from coming within 6 feet of employees.
Acrylic barriers have been added to the front desk to further protect our guests and employees from airborne contaminants.
Reception employees have been issued purpose made cloth face guards
Hand sanitizer stations have been positioned at reception for guests
We ask that no more than one party use the elevator at a time, including employees.

Guest Rooms (General Cleaning):

To protect our team and guests, team members are equipped with the following PPE:

Purpose made cloth face masks and vinyl gloves.

To enhance sanitation, all guest touch surfaces will be cleaned with a commercial peroxide cleaner effective in killing viruses, and procedures and training to understand contact times.

Guest room cleaners have been trained to focus on HCT’s in guest rooms to include, light switches, handles, knobs, remotes, phones, HVAC controls etc.)

Employees will not be allowed into guest rooms when the guest is present.

Self-Isolating Guests:

Rooms are available for first responders and those that fall into high risk categories to self-quarantine. (Provided they are not already showing symptoms)

Out of an abundance of caution, we will not be providing daily room cleaning services.
Extra amenities, trash pickup, linen exchange and other guest needs will be exchanged at the door using the 6-foot rule.
Guests will be asked not to use any of the open public spaces and limit trips in and out of the hotel when possible.
All guests who depart, after showing flu-like symptoms will have their rooms cleaned using COVID19 cleaning procedures.

Guest Rooms: (Cleaning confirmed or suspected cases of COVID19)Procedures complied from 3 major hotel brand’s recommendations.

Rooms are locked down upon guest departure for a period of 72 hours.

Guest room cleaner is equipped with the following PPE: Surgical Mask, Shoe Covers, Goggles, and disposable gloves.

Room is fully cleaned by a specially trained member of housekeeping management with an intensive focus on HCT’s.

Room air is sanitized by a RestorAir Portable Plug-In APS for a period of 48 hours.

Linens are washed separately on a hot water cycle. Plates, silverware, and cooking utensils are machine washed to 180º F. Fresh linens and eating surfaces to be delivered the room after the 48-hour air sanitation cycle.
